Award winning singer/songwriter, Crystal Sands, is an independent country music artist. She began singing at the age of 2 and started writing songs when she was 13. She taught herself how to play guitar at the age of 17. After graduating high school, Sands moved from her home state of Maryland, all the way to Texas, where she was signed to a record label that discovered her through Social Media. She released her self titled debut album "Crystal Sands" and her sophomore album ,"The Hard Times", as the flagship artist of Ah-ha Records. After a successful year of performing with her Texas band, Sands won the title for "Female Vocalist of the Year" at the 2009 Texas Music Awards. Unfortunately, the label soon fell apart and Crystal Sands moved to Nashville to continue chasing her country music dreams. Sands has performed along the east coast, from Maryland to Tennessee, from Florida to Texas, and across the nation to Las Vegas, Nevada. Sands currently lives in Maryland and continues to pursue her passion of writing and singing. Her latest single "Bass Pro Girl" was released on 9/9/22 and her brand new EP "Rollin' Stone" will be released on June, 9 2023, to all digital music streaming platforms worldwide.
